Our Guest’s Reviews
We loved that we could all stay in one location. It was an excellent home base for all our adventures we were able to experience. The coffee and breakfast at the coffee shop was amazing!

We had a great time at the Mountain Peaks Inn in Hill City. We loved that we had a space walkable to downtown, and it was central to many areas that we wanted to explore in the Black Hills. The hosts were unbelievably kind and excellent at responding to our questions. The grills provided were great for cooking, and we appreciated the fridge for our cooler items. We hope to come back in the future if we should make our way to SD again.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a base camp to the Badlands and Black Hills. Phenomenal location! The room was perfect for our family of five. Lisa and Steve were responsive and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with the location of the cabin, and you guys made our honeymoon very enjoyable. You guys were very quick to answer any questions that we had or any items that we needed and we couldn’t have been happier with the cabin, the property and you guys, the property managers, were fantastic. We will definitely be staying there again no questions asked.

We had a great time in the Black Hills and loved our stay at Mountain Peaks Inn. It was perfectly cozy, yet just enough space for our family of 4. I didn’t even realize there was a 2nd bathroom before booking so it was a nice surprise for the teenager to have his own loft with a bathroom. The location was central to all the activities we had planned and Hill City had a lot of cute shops and dining options within walking distance. We loved that this Inn is family owned and that they even operated the attached coffee shop. So wholesome and amazing coffee and drinks. 🙂

My fiancé and I traveled to SD from CO during Labor Day weekend. This little bungalow was exactly all we needed for the two of us. Owners were great and the little coffee shop below was very delicious!! Nice little town and I would highly recommend a stay at this property if ever in SD. Was in close proximity to all the sights…Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Hwy, Sylvan Lake, Wildlife Loop, and Bear Country. Two thumbs up!

We stayed 3 nights. Lisa was absolutely wonderful to deal with! We were on a cross country trip. [Mountain Peaks Inn] is close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park.
The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. Coffee pot and mugs. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to all downtown shops. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom included full size shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash. All organic! I liked it so much I ordered the same products on Amazon when we returned home. I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent accommodations. Centrally located for easy access to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse Monument. Friendly and helpful owners. They recommended Alpine Lodge Restaurant for dinner and it was great. Would recommend this accommodation to friends and family.

This place was located well. Just what we needed. A great place to go to wineries and see all that the black hills has to offer. Walked to restaurants and shopping. Safe and secure. I will be staying here again.
